PT Kasmaji Inti Utama held a specialized fire safety training on Saturday, December 14, 2024, as part of its ongoing efforts to improve employee safety. The full-day training aimed to equip all employees with the necessary knowledge and skills to work safely, particularly in environments involving smelting machines and hazardous chemicals.

Partnering with expert trainers from CV. Anugrah, the training provided comprehensive coverage, ranging from theoretical K3 procedures to hands-on practice with various types of fire extinguishers. Participants were also trained in the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and participated in emergency evacuation drills.

PT Kasmaji Inti Utama representative, the event organizer, emphasized, “Safety, especially fire safety, is a top priority for our company. Through this training, we aim to ensure that all employees are prepared to face potential hazards and work productively.”

As a follow-up, the company plans to establish a Health and Safety Committee (P2K3) involving all departments to continuously improve the overall safety system. It is hoped that with the knowledge gained, employees will be more vigilant and responsive to fire hazards, both within the workplace and in their personal lives.”
